TEST RECIPE – DOES NOT CONTAIN THE CORRECT WEIGHTS OF INGREDIENTS, DO NOT USE ON THE DOG. IT WAS CREATED TO GIVE YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW HOW OUR “REGULATORY ADVISOR” WORKS.

A recipe for a cooked meal for a dog consisting of tasty beef tenderloin, carrots, zucchini, potato, spinach and rapeseed oil.

A high-protein recipe, but with a reduced content of beet, ideal for dogs with weight problems or older dogs (without health problems). Due to its high protein content, it is not recommended for dogs with pancreatic disease.

Recipe ingredients – tasty and healthy

Beef tenderloin is the most delicate element in a beef carcass. Tender and tasty meat with a moderate fat content. Beef is also a very good source vitamins A, B, such as B1, B6 and B12, as well as selenium and iron. Beef is a rich source of linoleic acid, which helps reduce body fat and protects muscles. Beef also contains more iron compared to other types of slaughter meat. Due to its fat content, it is not recommended for dogs suffering from, for example, pancreas, where poultry or fish will be more recommended.

Carrots are a source of vitamin A in the form of beta-carotene, which has a positive effect on the functioning of the organ of vision. Carrots are also rich in antioxidants, which have anti-free radical properties. It is recommended in cases of vitamin A deficiencies, as well as in malnutrition.

Zucchini is an easily digestible and low-calorie vegetable rich in vitamins A, B, C. Zucchini is often used in an anti-cancer diet, as well as to strengthen the body’s immunity.

Spinach contains vitamins A, C, K1 and iron, folic acid and calcium, as well as numerous antioxidants. It has anti-cancer significance and supports the cognitive functions of the body. In addition, it contains fiber that supports the digestive system.

Potatoes are easy to digest and contain almost no fat, but they have a lot of potassium and magnesium. The fiber content has a positive effect on the functioning of the digestive system.

Preparation:

  • Cut the meat into small pieces or mince it. Put the meat into boiling water. Stew the shredded meat (cook covered) in a small amount of water. Set aside immediately after boiling. The water from cooking meat can be used to prepare a meal.
  • Cut the vegetables into small pieces and blanch or cook them in steam or a small amount of water for about a few minutes. They must be soft. Pour off the water and do not use it with a meal.
  • Cook the spinach whole by throwing it into boiling water – boil for 2-5 minutes.
  • Mix a warm dish: vegetables, meat.
  • Add the oil and calcium-mineral supplement before serving the meal (when storing meals, also add before serving). Mix with the meal. Serve the meal at room temperature.

My advice:

For shredding, you can use a special blender with a shredding attachment or a shredder. The meat can be cut on a board or ground in a mincer.
