Training for dog guardians – recording with subtitles in Polish
The training was held in the form of a webinar. In the case of purchasing an annual subscription to the dietetykzwierzecy24.pl portal, the Subscriber receives the right to participate in all webinars free of charge, as well as access to a special forum with answers to Subscribers’ questions related to dog nutrition (planned launch July 2023).
After purchasing participation on-line, participants will receive access to the training and to recordings of the training and all materials. Receiving an access link to the training is tantamount to the implementation of the sale and the lack of possibility to withdraw from the sales contract.
Training scope
Prevention of overweight and obesity in dogs. Implementing an optimal diet for an overweight dog
The scope of the training will include, m.in:
- Causes of overweight and obesity in dogs
- Breeds at risk of being overweight
- Other risk factors – how to avoid obesity
- How to recognize overweight and obesity in a dog? – diagnostic tools. What do the points on the BCS scale mean and how does it relate to a dog’s normal weight. Ideal weight for a dog from puppy to senior
- Energy demand – how to calculate and how much to give kcal/meal for a dog with a normal and abnormal figure
- Guidelines for choosing a diet for a dog (analytical composition)
- Implementing a weight loss plan
- Castration and sterilization vs. nutrition
- Supplementation associated with supporting the correct body shape of the dog
