Chronic kidney failure (CKD) is a threat to the life and health of the dog. This disease is increasingly diagnosed, and some studies say that every tenth senior dog is at risk of it. The International Renal Interest Society (IRIS) focuses on kidney disease in dogs and cats and supports veterinarians in making them easier to diagnose and treat them optimally.
